As much as I hate using internet explorer,I need it to run some business related apps. Can I still install it on my iMac ? It used to be available but seems to have disapeared about a year or so ago 😟 help

Internet Explorer is only available in Windows.
There is a possible solution though, within Safari it's pretty simple and may solve your dillema:
Go to Safari>Preferences>Advanced tab and put a tick against 'Show Develop menu in menu bar', and then in Safari from the Develop menu>User agent select one of the Internet Explorer options.

MMMMM you do realize this thread is almost a year old? Follow the directions above carefully and choose the version of Explorer the web site your attempting to visit is picked.
Not for long will that be true since Microsoft has now declared that Internet Explorer is evil and they are dropping support for it.
