My ipad is being wierd! I just want to know whats wrong and if I can do anything about it...

I was given an iPad from a friend who didnt use it and it had a broken screen.

I had a company change the screen but they also changed the battery and charger part because it wasnt charging.

I was away traveling so Ieft the ipad at the store to be fixed for a few months.

Now when Im home i put it in the charger and it says 100% charged in a few seconds and then it turns off when i unplugg it.

Could it be that the new batteries need more time to charge before they will be ok?

Or did they go bad because they never got charged for a few months?
