Q: i can send emails but cant receive them on the ipad.

I have an Ipad Air and it wont receive emails but i can send them. I restarted the Ipad and deleted the accound and re added it.

    Hi giradifco62,

     

    I understand your iPad Air has an email account set up that is able to send email but it is not receiving incoming mail. Depending on the type of account you have, the incoming server may either be a POP or IMAP server and this is more than likely where the issue is. You did find a good article for troubleshooting Mail on the iPad.

    If you have gone through all of these steps including deleting and re-adding the account as you say, I would verify the POP or IMAP settings with your provider and make sure they are correct. The following webpage is also a fantastic source for server information.
