my PowerBook G4 15" dosn't reconize the express card.what can i do?

PowerBook, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

The PowerBooks use a cardbus/PCMCIA interface. I don't think Express34 is backwards compatible.

Did the card you are trying to use ever work with that computer?
