Sustain Pedal Issue?

I never had this issue with Garageband until the newest update. I am on 10.0.2. I have my keyboard connected using MIDI. I recorded a song using the sustain pedal on my keyboard and it recorded fine. When I went to edit the song, cut the track to delete some errors, I noticed the sustain would disappear from half the song. I could'nt find a way around it so I re-recorded the song ensuring I made no errors since I wouldn't be able to edit them. The sustain was there on multiple playbacks of the recording. When I sent the completed song to my iTunes, the sustain was gone. Is anyone else having this issue, does anyone know how to fix this? It is driving me crazy.
