Jabra Rox/Macbook Pro Pairing

I just purchased the Jabra Roxx wireless headphones also and I am having the same challenges getting my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.9.2) recognizing them. Does anyone have a solution ?

I have issue too. Connection is reported as success from both Mac and Jabra, but sound doesn't come.

Try to turn off Bluetooth on Mac OS and Jabra, then turn Mac OS bluetooth and after 10 sec pause turn on Jabra. Sometimes it helps, sometimes need to retry this procedure to successful connect.

Seems i found more reliable workaround -

• Turn on Jabra (or do not turn off if it's on)
• Exit iTunes (important!)
• Disconnect Jabra from Mac OS Bluetooth menu
• Wait Jabra report "Disconnected"
• Connect Jabra from Mac OS Bluetooth menu
• Do not touch anything until iTunes started automatically
• Then can play music

I had the same problem with late macboo pro retina 15''. I succeeded to connect my jabra rox by turning them off and desactivating bluetooth on IOS settings, and reactivating the bluetooth and turning on the jabra again.

This become freaking annoying 😕.

yulyul, I posted same solution in this thread above, but seems there is no reliable procedure.

Sometimes it start loop of endless connection - disconnection on iMac 2013 / Mac OS 10.9.3.

Another my solution is not reliable too. It fails many times whatever I try.

I loose 1-5 minutes every time i need to connect earbuds.

Apple, please take attention for this problem in next release of Mac OS X.

Yo! Seems i found almost perfect method to reconnect Jabra! 😎

1) Turn Jabra OFF

2) Open Bluetooth Preferences

3) Remove Jabra device from list

4) Press multifunction key for 5 second

5) Pair Jabra again

Tried this few times and seems it most reliable method.

Finally i solve problems with pairing Jabra and Mac!

Accidentally I discovered that if Jabra is connected with my Android phone,

then Mac discovering Jabra almost without problems. It connects in same second,

then after 3 sec sound changes to low quality, then 3 sec switch back to normal.

Finally i'm enjoying music without distraction. Thanks, Google =)

I know by now everyones got to know how to connect Jabra Rox wireless headset.

Well, let me just put an easy way to connect;

- Press and hold the home/universal button on your Jabra Rox and wait until it flashes Blue light. (This means Bluetooth on Jabra is now turned on)

- Turn on any of your other device / Mac to connect and you will find that Jbara now shows up!

- Go ahead and connect..Enjoy your music.

hi i had the same problem, too. i first removed JABRA from my blue tooth devices then turned off my MAC then turned it back on and paired with JABRA then it worked fine. NOTE: don't start iTunes before pairing
