orange livebox connection and powerbook

Hi,
Has anyone been using the orange livebox with airport? I can't set up my powerbook to work with it, a message says access is denied as my computer is not on the network.
Orange offer no technical support for mac, but.. my flatmate set up his imac after speaking to someone @ orange who had some personal experience with macs, however, my mate can't remember what he did to make it work.

Any ideas are gratefully received.

Hi,

I did one of these on Sunday. it's not difficult.

As I remember the box is set up using the supplied ethernet cable. Once that is done you must make the box "available" for a wifi connection.

To do this you must press one of the buttons on the side. One of the the red lights will start to flash (there's a radio mast type symbol hidden in the plastic) and then the box is discoverable for about 10 minutes.

on the bottom of the box is the WEP code.

You must enter a $ before typing the string.

Thats it.

Let us know if it works for you.
