Apple TV won't display Airplay even though device says it is playing..

Airplay icon appears on all devices, they are up to date. I choose Apple TV but then it won't work. It used to from all devices. Rebooted router and modem, still nothing. Airplay is on in Apple TV settings and Apple TV will play all internet content. Help Please so frustrated!
