What would be the best CoolPad for the mac

Differ people have differ opinion based on their budget and personal preference.

some people like a mat or pad to isolate the heat so it wont spread to user lap, some like hard pad with fans.

I use antec cool pad, and it served me well, but I like targus coolpad that has 4 port usb 2.0 on the side, it really help people with a lot of device.

ps: pad with fans will draw power from your usb port, so your battery juiced is drain faster (altough only in minutes count.)

I bought one with the computer, but after the firmware update it's running considerable cooler, so... but mine is a LapCool2, bought at a Fry's in San José, with two fans in the slightly-noisy range, and two "pockets" underneath, one for the connecting cable and other for assorted knickknacks (I put my Apple Remote there).

I guess you should go to a store, check them out and decide on price...

I use the iLap. It's light and elegant looking and fit nicely into a laptop bag. A little pricey but worth it and it keep the computer tilted at a nice angle on tabletops.
