iPhone 5 display and digitizer randomly not working but LCD light does

I'm wondering if anyone had this issue. My iPhone 5 display started failing randomly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The LCD backlight works perfectly but the LCD and the digitizer doesn't power. I don't know if it's software related or hardware cause I made a full restore and it worked normally again till it started failing. Any clues??
