Texting by Apple using 49988 code
My carrier Bell Canada is telling me you were the ones charging me for a text Apple sent to me Iphone 5. How can that happen without my permission?

Are you an Apple employee? If yes I would like to get you the Bell call center and I on a phone to track this down.
Because Bell says you were the ones who charged me using your 49988 code which they say apparently entitles you to charge me for each text message you send me under that code. If it really is bell who is charging me and not apple then I want to ensure they never do it again.
Again, no one here is an Apple employee, we are all iphone users just like you. This is a user to user forum. You are not addressing Apple here at all.
Apple has nothing to do with texts. They manufacture phones.
Most likely related to FaceTime/iMessage activation, a silent SMS is sent & supported carriers are not supposed to charge for this.
Call back & try to get someone who knows what they're doing. FaceTime & iMessage activation, on an iPhone, require a SMS plan in order to activate. Supported carriers are not supposed to charge for this.

No one here charged you anything.
Perhaps if you were to explain further, then one of your fellow iphone users could offer an opinion.
Thanks for your time but you are no help at all unless you can tell me who to call at Apple to get to the bottum of this.
So you can figure out how to create an account on this forum and post a question, but you can't figure out how to find a phone number to contact Apple Support?
KiltedTim your response is very helpfull; just the the rest of the group. Youal have a nice day sitting by you computers writing more useless replies.
