Syncing iPhone music purchases and Apple TV

I purchased some music from iTunes on my iPhone 5. When I turn on my Apple TV and select music, it just keeps displaying the message " Your purchased music is currently being synced to your Apple TV. This has been happening for 2 days. I cannot listen to any music. Can anyone help? Thanks. Novice girl
