Q: i.web folder no longer on internet

I have too many sites on my i.web so that when I go to publish a change, they all publish again. So I thought that by saving my non working sites to folders on my computer, I could remove them from my working area of i.web, but still keep on my computer, hence still online. However by moving them to an i.web folder, they are no longer on line. How can I reload them, or even get them back into my i.web working area?
Thank you!!!! Help!!!!

    Heidi...

This all depends on how exactly you "saved" your non-working sites to folders. Here are some facts...

    1. The only way to save sites and maintain future editing and publishing capability, they must be kept inside valid Domain files.
    2. If you remove sites from within the iWeb application, then they get deleted from the .Mac server....this is synchronization at work here... AND they get deleted from the current valid Domain file.
    3. Publishing to Folder and keeping a copy of your sitefolder does not constitute a working backup.

So Heidi, unless you have backed up your Domain file along the way, I'm afraid that you've lost your other sites. I mean, you still have the published sites in folders on your computer and you can always drag these back to a server somewhere, but you won't be able to put these back into iWeb for editing and publishing.
