My FaceTime and Bluetooth won't work since going abroad.

Me and my boyfriend FaceTime all the time, but ever since I went to spain in April, my FaceTime and bluetooth will not work. When i try to call my boyfriend, it says it is connecting and then will say "call failed" I've tried using my apple ID instead, but it does the exact same thing. Regarding the bluetooth, I have a samsung sound bar underneath my tv and I usually connect my phone to the bar and play music, but since Spain, I cant do this? It keeps saying "not paired" or "bluetooth pairing request" so I select "pair" and it says "pairing unseccessful". I keep going round in circles and I just want to be able to facetime my boyfriend and connect my music to my soundbar. Someone please help me, ive tried so much hahaha x

Hello thailandbangkok,

Thank you for the details of the issues you are experiencing with FaceTime and Bluetooth on your iPhone since relocating to Spain.

I suggest reviewing these article for the issue you described with FaceTime:

Unable to make or receive FaceTime calls after April 16, 2014

iOS: Troubleshooting FaceTime

I suggest the following article and specifically these steps for the issue you are experiencing with pairing your iPhone with your soundbar:

Unable to pair to a Bluetooth accessory

  • If you see the word "Connected" next to a Bluetooth accessory in Settings > Bluetooth, your iOS device is already paired to a Bluetooth accessory. Remember, you can only connect to one Bluetooth accessory at a time.
  • If your Bluetooth accessory requires a PIN for pairing, be sure that you are entering the correct PIN.
  • Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Note: This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN and APN settings.
