Q: Why is my Mac Pro wireless keyboard not being found after changing batteries

Why does my Mac Pro not find the wireless keyboard after changing the batteries.  I restarted the computer but it still doesn't recognize the keyboard?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), iOS 7.1.1
