My I mac 27 just works in save mode and with vertical blue lines. in normal mode it crash in botting and only the mose arrow move. Is it a hardward proplem and what is it?

Could be a display or graphics driver issue. Make sure you have a backup and do a clean install. See if that helps.

Hi the video card its damaged and you will need to replace it.
no way to repair that graphic card alon. I opened my imac and removed the LCD screen and blow it with air to remove dust, still doesn't work in normal mode and still working in save mode.
Yo can try to reseat the graphic card sometimes it helps, but you need some skills because you will have to remove the logig board...if still wont work tan the graphic card need to be replaced
Since it works in the Safe Mode, the problem could be 3rd party software. Try running this program and then copy and paste the output in a reply. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read.
He already reinstalled the OSX so the third party software its unlikely to cause the problem.
