Assigning Different Colors to Track Stacks vs Sub-Tracks

Hello Fellow Logicheads:

I really like using colors to organize things. I have been busy builing a project template. I have created Track Stacks - Drums, Percussion, Bass, Guitars, etc - that of course contain Sub-tracks grouped together. I would like to assign a specific color to the Track Stack and, sometimes, a different color to a subtrack.

This is where things stand now:

Here's what I want to do:

1. Assign the Track Stack Drums (Technically track #1) the same color [Red] as the subtracks (#'s 2-4). Then..

2. Assign the Track Stack Percussion (#5) - which as you can see is a light blue - the color Orange...

3. Assign Track Stack Bass (#7), as you start to notice, as the same light blue as all the Track Stacks, the same color Yellow as is subtrack (#8)

4. Leave Track Stack Guitars (#9) the light blue color while leaving the subtracks (#'s10-12) the same colors they are now.

For some reason Logic isn't allowing me to do this.

What am I missing here?
