Kevin_ i'm gonna use it to a app called Bluetooth Screen Lock. It locks your mac if the iphone get long enough away. It won't work with wifi eather.

- Pairing another device with your mac and/or iphone?
- Maybe the app requires sharing to be turned on for mac?
- I would check the app's requirements.. make sure it supports bluetooth versions that you're running.

But i shall definitly try the other two alternativs
