My startup HD1 has 79GB I have used 76GB, my computer is running very slow and crashes a lot, I do have a HD2 with 320GB I have used 2GB. Can I somehow move files over to the HD2 to make more room in HD1. IOr can I move everything to HD2?

Is the external drive Firewire or USB?

Get carbon copy cloner to make an exact copy of your old HD to the New one...

Noting is on the HD2 320GB. The HD1 has 76GB with 74GB used.
Then use an older version of either of those to clone everything over, then boot from the 320 GB. 🙂

Yes, they'll copy all files if you so choose AND make the drive bootable. 🙂
You don't need to make a copy to put on the HD2, it copies everything on HD1 to HD2, file by file.
thank you I think I got it now. Have to purchase one of the clone programs and copy everything with the program then move the over to HD2.
