Stop expand and collapse arrows

On our file server users will expand a floder by clicking the arrow beside the folder. Then do the same for sub folders and leave it that way. When you open a share point after users have expanded a few folders its a mess to search for the file you want.

My question is: Is there a way to disable the expanding and collapseing of folders by useing the arrow beside the folder. I would like to make it where users have to double click on a folder to open it.
