I requested that the Host move your thread to the correct forum.

You really should update your profile to reflect that your Mac is now running 10.7.5.

I have no problems downloading my photos from my camera to Aperture.

Maybe if you told us what camera you are attempting to download the photos from that might help.

Also did it ever work and only stop recently or is the first time that you are having problems?

Do you get any error messages?

If the issue is with RAW photos, these are the supported cameras under 10.7:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4757

Under 10.8 for future reference is here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5371

Under 10.9 is: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5955

Most cameras have a media card which allows other formats to be read by any photo processing application if connected via the appropriate reader. Many multifunction printers have media card readers for practically every card format.

Many cameras also support Image Capture application for loading their photos, if not iPhoto, and once you have the photos on your Mac Aperture can open them.

Allan, you helped me once before with this problem. My camera is a "Canon PowerShot A620". I think it has something to do with the "power pc" no longer supporting my camera. However, last time I discussed this with you there was a way around the problem. I should have made notes on how it was done but I thought it was a one time problem and I wouldn't have a problem with it again.

thanks, Don
