The information below can help get Find My iPhone working correctly for the affected device.
Location appears to be old or inaccurate
This can occur if you previously located your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac and your device has not yet provided an updated location to iCloud.
Note: Your device's last known location will be available for one day. After 24 hours, you will no longer be able to see this last known location if the device is offline or otherwise unable to connect to Find My iPhone to provide an updated location.

May 14, 2014 8:22 AM in response to Heylee1by Heylee1,Hi allen a
More info about wrong location given in Find My Iphone: on one occassion the location hops from one corner to the opposite corner of a 2000sf single level building.
Another incident: the iphone is actually really on the west side of town but Find My Iphone shows the location on the north side of town, the difference was more than 10 miles apart.
There are several other instances where the app has shown the wrong location. Even after refreshing, quitting the app, restarting the iphone, recalibrating the compass, it still shows the wrong location.
What else can I try to correct this problem?
