Keyboard size the same as a macbook air/pro?

Hello, i was looking at keyboard stickers and found one that i like it says it will fit on a macbook air/pro. I know the position and layout is a bit different on a ibook but was wondering if the actual keys are the same size so the stickers can fit. Thanks

Were you looking to restore the original key-faces, or use different stick-ons, for

use with a modified keyboard character set? Single worn keys may be replaced.

Are you already in possession of the labels, or are they somewhere for sale online?

There may be comparable images of keyboards online, but their exact dimensions

may not be so readily compared. A working keyboard for an iBook G4 12" or 14"

could be found online, some in fair shape at reasonable price. Identifying correct

match may be difficult, since part numbers vary between stock & replacement.

welovemacs, powerbookmedic, wegenermedia, ifixit, and others may have parts

they do not list on their web page; some who repair Apple portables for a living

have many replacement parts & may have some to retail for DIY repairs.

Good luck! 🙂

There was another discussion about keyboard key-face stickers, + maybe

another source for some. Not sure what they are. Perhaps you may contact

a supplier with specific questions, to see if they have a matching product.

•Are there mac keyboard stickers that can be used for worn out keyboards?

Actual replacement key faces or keyboards are usually better, if available

and within an appropriate cost factor.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
