Connecting Older Display to new Macbook Pro

I just got a new macbook pro retina, and have an old apple display. The charger from the monitor does not fit the new laptop. Is there any kind of solution to this?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Apart from the charger issue, are you having any other issues? I'm planning on buying a new laptop and I want to make sure it'll still work with my older cinema display. I'll make sure I get the adapter Malcolm provided a link to.
