Q: Why does my iPhone 4 device restart whenever i unlock it?

Everything on my iPhone works perfectly, when on the lockscreen i can slide up and its presents me with all of the easy access buttons and they all work properly and I can also slide down and view my notifications, I can click on the notifications and the apps open perfectly.

But whenever i slide to unlock my phone the apple logo appears and my phone restarts again.

I have tried hard reseting my device but that didn't work.

& I also tried restoring it with iTunes, but the error 3194 appears.

3194 often means the user has jailbroken the iPhone ??

Error 3194 means that you are trying to install a version of iOS lower than the current version (7.1.1 as of today). You cannot do this. You must upgrade to 7.1.1 if you want to restore it. You don't say what version you have right now, but there was a bug in an early 7.0.x release that could cause that symptom. So can a jailbroken phone.

    Standard troubleshooting...

    1. Remove apps from the Recently Used (multi-tasking) list...

    - From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List

    - Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list

    - Press the home button when done.

    2. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider.  Slide to power off.  Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.

    3. Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

    4. Restore with your backup.

    5. Restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.    You may need to try DFU mode (Google for it).

    6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.
