what's on there can't run on the iPad, that virus is meant for a different operating system.
Exit out of safari, go into the settings and safari and empty your cache.

stuff like that usually end up being popup ads on sites. usually they're annoying but harmless, however sometimes they're malicious.
the cache is offline files stored on your device. You can go into the settings adn delete it which should clear out the garbage.
