I just purchased an iPad 1st generation yesterday, and I downloaded all my music from the iTunes store, but when I go to the Music app to play my music, it doesn't play at all. The little line that indicates the current time in the song doesn't move, and neither doesn't the time as it stays at 0:00. The play logo indicates that it's playing though.
What does the play indicator look like?
II indicates playing.
> indicates paused.
ll is what is shows, but songs doesn't start.
Does anyone know how to fix?
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.
