Failing to restore my ipod nano 6th generation

My ipod nano 6th generation does not show the normal home screen when turned on, instead, it displays 'N20 Snowfox (4A0432) Voltage: 3628 mV', at times it asks to be restored but now im online and want to restore it, its showing me that screen instead of the restore option.

Hello Pofela,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

The iPod appears to be in diagnostics mode. To get out of that mode I would like you to follow the troubleshooting steps in the following article.

How to reset iPod

How to reset an iPod nano (6th generation)

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down button simultaneously for at least eight seconds or until the Apple logo appears. You may need to repeat this step.

If the above step did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.

Take care,

Alex H.
