Q: I can no longer login to my Macbook Pro.

Hello everybody,

I am the owner of a Macbook Pro (bought it in 2010) with the newest Maverick software. There was an new update to be done (I don't really know which one), which went without problems. Afterwards I wanted to open mail, but I got a notification that the program needed to import all my mails and data from the program to this new version. I pressed the 'OK-button', but my laptop was not able to perform this task: I got a notification that there was not enough storage room for this action. I thought this was rather odd, becaus I had never had any problems like that. So I decided to restart my computer, hoping that I would work again afterwards.

Unfortunately, now I am no longer able to login to my Macbook Pro! Even the guest user-account doesn't work. Once I type the password (which I know for certain is correct), a white screen appears, then a quick lightblue screen, then again the white screen with a grey loading-sign and then It goes straight back to the login page...

I have already tried this a dozen times as well as logging in with the Safe boot, but that doesn't work either.

Can somebody please help me? It is finals week, so this is like the worst timing ever!

Thank you in advance!
