Pages Documents sent to a PC

I create documents for my boss, sometimes 50 at a time that started as Word documents on a PC. My PC died and I bought a Mac. I can create the documents fine, but when I email them to my boss, they show up in his email as Zip files and he has to open each zip file to be able to print it which takes a lot more time that the quick print way without having to open the document when it was PC to PC. How can I fix that? Any way I can send the files without them Zipping?

Save your current document in Pages. Now, on the Toolbar, select the Sharing icon (box with an up-arrow). From the resulting menu, choose Send a Copy > E-mail. Select Word as the document type, click Next, and the Word .docx document is now attached to the body of a new e-mail composition window. No zip necessary.

In the Mail compose window, select the paperclip icon from the Toolbar and enable Send Windows-Friendly Attachments. Once selected, you can then press Cancel on this dialog and you are good to go.

The Sharing solution is per document.

You can use the File > Export To... > Word... Next approach, and save each Word document in an intuitive location ( Documents ). Then launch the Mail composition window, select multiple Word documents in the Finder, and drag/drop them into your Mail composition window as attachments.

By default the preceding export process will create Word .docx documents. If you want Word .doc documents, then click on the Advanced Options text in the Export dialog, and click the Format selection.
