May 15, 2014 9:38 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by mcl3086,When you want to delete an app...you press it until they all become "jiggly".
Well, on my phone, all the icons then have an x in a circle in the upper left corner.
That circle, with the x in it, for some apps, is now half grey and half white, while others are all white.
I'm wondering what this signifies.

May 15, 2014 9:42 AM in response to mcl3086by paulcb,Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

May 15, 2014 9:43 AM in response to mcl3086by ChrisJ4203,I've not noticed that on my device. Does this interfere with your ability to delete the apps? Is it possible this has something to do with the background that you have? It will show through slightly.

May 15, 2014 9:46 AM in response to mcl3086by mcl3086,Okay, that was weird. Never mind, I guess. I just went back to confirm all the steps I mentioned, and now everything is back to being original. Sorry...I know I sound a bit "odd" at the moment. I don't know...maybe it's part of the global issue I have with my phone right now. For some reason, the phone doesn't see my SIM card, so I have no phone functions. But when I went to delete an app earlier, the icons looked different, but now they don't.

Trouble with the SIM should not have any affect on the icons.
