Typing an artist to browse there

On iTunes 11.2, I can't seem to simple type an artist name to get anymore. With 'Albums' selected, I usually typed "Joy" and the screen would jump up or down so that I could click Joy Division or similar. Now, the library won't jump there but just some random screen.. anyone has a tip?
