I just got a new iPodTouch and it starting accessing a web server I always block on my Mac. How do I block it on an iPodTouch?

Hey Pigmeat, Have you looked in Settings>General>Restrictions, after enabling Restrictions scroll down to Allowed Content and look into Websites and go from there. Good luck. Cheers.
I think I accidently started up Safari, and it started accessing Google as a search engine. On my Mac, I block all Google web sites in my firewall. I want to not only block Google's web sites but also accesses to Google servers that are embedded in most web pages.
I'd also like a better choice of search engines, but I can get StartPage.com and DuckDuckGo by just typing the URL.
The problem with used Allowed Content is that it's a whitelist, which would be too long to enter and also doesn't block 3rd party web accesses within a page from a web site that is allowed. What I really want is a firewall, something like Little Snitch.
There is nothing like that currently available.

Parental Controls block web sites. A firewall blocks web servers, that is, both web sites and 3rd party servers that are referenced within a web page. The 2 are totally different. Parental Controls restrict content. Firewalls are for security and privacy.
