Unable to delete calendar from iPhone

Before iCloud, I had synced calendars with my iPhone. When they removed calendar syncing from iTunes, I wound up having the US Holidays calendar subscribed on my iPhone under 'Other' Calendars. There doesn't seem to be a way to delete this calendar. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this? (It's an iPhone 4S)

I wanted to delete all the national holidays from my iphone. I went to Calendars in my Calendar app where Holidays in Canada was checked . I deleted the check then clicked on Done in top right corner. Then I shut my phone off completely so it could reset. When I started up again holidays were not showing.
