Past Calendar events disappearing

Events being deleted automatically from calendar after 30 days? Using iphone5s and iPad with iCloud events disappear approximately 30 days need past events on calendars.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.1

It's part of a managing your space thing. The more calendar events you keep, the more you have contributing to the 'other' in your storage.

You can go into settings, mail, contacts and calendar and choose how far back you sync events. Mine is set to 6 months, or you can set it to all events. You just have to be aware that the more you keep the more space it takes.

Thanks just figured it out I was going to reply to my own post to help others. Your response was the most straight forward to fix problem. I should have figured out sooner thanks for your help.

Thank you for this! I just changed the settings to 6 months. Will my past events pop up? I was using my calendar to log my work schedule. Now I cannot find my work events that I held from 6 months ago.
