OS X 10.9.3 Update Problems

So i just updated my macbook pro ,15" late 2013 with 8gb of ram, to 10.9.3 and my first problem was as soon as the download is over my mac is frozen, so i had to shut it down manually then after 15 min of using it, a new tab shows up and says no more memory quit these apps .... i quitted chrome then as soon as i opened it it showed up again. i downloaded memory clean and it shows i have 5mb of memery left. What can i do help it stucks every 10 sec
