- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
Thus, you have some app that need updating that were purchased with your Father's account. Either:
Not update his apps
- Get the password and update them
- Delete them and purchases with your account.
For photos, it seems like yo are both using the aame iCloud account and have PhotoStream turned on in Settings>iCloud>Photos
Or, he has shared Photos turned on in the same place.
