The recent update for iTunes has terribly messed up my ability to click a letter on the keyboard and get to that letter within my iTunes library.
I used to be able to type for instance the letter "C" and get to the artist starting with the letter "C" in my iTunes library.
Now after the update after I type "C" it will just go somewhere random in my library.
iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
I'm having the same issue and 11.2.1 didn't fix it. It seems to actually go to the letter or letters I press but the program scrolls too far down. If I scroll up in the window I see that the album of the first artist with that letter combination is open.
same, annoying isn't it?
do you think they are aware of this problem and may fix it soon?

hmm.. i had a talk with AppleSupport and was told to give feedback in http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html , which i did. Cant tell, if this means that 'they are aware' 👿

I logged some feedback on that link quuba supplied and just pasted in the text ishadoe had in the top post on this thread.
we'll see if anything comes of it.
Just reinstalled iTunes today and it did nothing. Still the same issue.
Really bad for users with an extensive library.
Makes me wonder if Apple diagnosis or runs test on any of their updates these days.

after update. --> 11.3 fixed it for me!
yes, you're right, I just installed the latest version 11.3.0.54 and the keyboard navigation is now fixed.
