Q: Front Row broken with 10.9.3 - Mac Mini

I have been running Front Row very happily under OS X 10.9.2 on my Mac Mini and iMac.  It's not supported by Apple but, it has been working well.

Yesterday, I updated to iTunes 11.2 and OS X 10.9.3.  Front Row now doesn't work properly.  It loads and follows the directory tree as before but when opening a video file instead of displaying the file it goes to a blank grey screen (filling the entire display).  As before pressing any non-mapped key takes me back to the Desktop suggesting that the blank grey screen is being displayed by Front Row.

This is a problem on my Mac Mini mid-2011.  Oddly, however, I'm having no problem with Front Row on my iMac late-2009 which I've also updated with iTunes 11.2 and OS X 10.9.3.

Could there be a change to the graphics in 10.9.3 that affects a Mac Mini differently to an iMac (they have separate but different GPUs) ?

Has anyone seen a grey screen in Front Row before ?

Thanks

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), mid-2011, Core i7, 2.7Ghz, 8Gb
