Chrome bookmarks not showing up on iPhone Chrome browser

I can see this subject has been beat to death, but I am not getting any results from the fixes I have viewed.

I have tried exporting bookmarks from Chrome on iMac to Safari and then syncing via iTunes.

I have logged into Chrome on iMac in order to sync via the Chrome login and then logged in via the iPhone and can see the same count of bookmarks.

But I don't see them anywhere within the IOS Chrome browser. I don't see any button that says sync, so I am assuming that it is supposed to be automatic. I can't really tell if the sync has happened. What am I missing, if anything?

She is working now. I left my iPhone Chrome browser open for about an hour and I am now getting my bookmarks. It would be nice if there was a progress bar and some indicator that the sync has completed at least for the first go around.

Tap on the menu icon (the one with the 3 lines), then tap Settings.

Is the correct Google account listed there? If so, tap on the name of the account and check your settings to make sure Sync is on.

I agree - I think you can submit feedback about apps if you look at them in the App Store/iTunes on your computer; there should be a link somewhere for contacting the developer to submit feedback.

This worked for me, I just had to add one step...

Once I was logged into my Google account in the Chrome browser on the iPhone, I simply went in and turned the sync OFF, and back ON again. Then, it immediately synced up as it is on my laptop browser. Maybe that will help. 🙂

Since Chrome is not Apple product you should probably post a question on Google own Chrome forums

The Chrome browser was not developed by Apple. Contact Google who is the distributor for Chrome. The contact info should be in the chrome area of the App Store.

Lyssa,

All is as you listed. It even says in greyed out text that the sync is occurring, but there is no progress bar showing and nothing ever shows up in the bookmarks list.

Hmmm. Might be worth deleting the app & reinstalling it if you haven't to see if that helps any.

Are you using a personal google account or one through a business/school?
