Q: 10.9.3 update slow buffering to ATV

After updating to 10.9.3 I am experinceing very slow buffering speeds to ATV 3rd gen.

Both devices are running over a gigabit network. I dont understand why the speeds will have dropped? Is there anything that can be done to fix this.

    Hello TimHackett,

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning Airplay:

I don't think the article that you have provided is related to the orginal question, for me the problem is not related to AirPlay. The problem is that I store purchased movies on my Mac, I then go to Apple TV > Computer > Home Share to run the movie, prior to 10.9.3 the movie starts to play in seconds and continue to play without stopping (this is expected since it is an internal network afterall), but since 10.9.3 movie takes forever to start and it keep on stopping/rebuffering! It is so bad that I can stream movie from iTune store (internet) faster than getting the movie from my local computer (intranet), what gives?
