HELP-Macbook pro, no screen on startup, apple icon does not light up, neither does caps lock, any ideas?

Macbook Pro (2007), screen pixelated, computer restarted by itself, on restart no screen, apple icon does not illumiate and the caps lock doesn't turn green. Any Ideas, Help!!!

I bought a new mac but need to transfer the data.

I tried and external screen but no luck.
