Q: Double charging for purchases?

Can someone PLEASE help me get into contact with Apple Australia - I have been around and around in loops trying to find someone to contact!  I have noticed numerous times in the past  - where my account will be in credit (with a pre-purchased voucher) and when I make a purchase, it would often take it off the balance of the credit already on the account, AND take the purchase off of my credit card at the same time!!  Double dipping - not good!!  I took my credit card details OFF file with Apple, so they couldn't double dip!

Now, if I have purchased something in the past, I should (at least you used to be able to) be able to re download it - without being charged for it?  My iphone recently got wiped, due to a failure in the wifi internet whilst it was updating   I just tried to re-download a tone I HAVE purchased, and paid for before (it is also on my Ipad) 1. It said I had $7 something in credit 2. It now says I don't have enough credit to download the tone - a tone I have ALREADY PAID FOR?? And what happened to the rest of the credit?  There was over $7 - the tone was just over $2 - what happened to the rest??

I'd like to contact apple to be able to be re-imbursed at least for the very last transaction/s on my account, as I was only trying to re-download something I have already paid for.  I in future, will keep a very strict eye on the account, and make sure I am NOT being re-charged for something I have already paid for!

Anyone know how I can contact Apple Australia, and how I can get this sorted out?  Your help in this would be greatly appreciated.

And Apple - if you are reading this, please contact me ASAP!  I would like this sorted as soon as possible.  I also need to update/change what devices it lists I have.  I currently only have 2 iphones and 1 ipad - the others have either been sold or given away.

Thank you,

Cherylee Dougan aka GoobiePink.

These are user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.

You can contact iTunes Support in Australia via this page : http://www.apple.com/au/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

Not all items can be redownloaded for free, ringtones (and audiobooks) are a one-time only download, so you will be charged for them if you redownload them. What you can redownload for free on your phone will show in the Purchased tabs in the iTunes and App Store apps, and in the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app.

For the $7 / $2 you can view the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases. Does anything extra show there ?

You need to change that devices are listed where ? If the devices that are registered to your support profile : https://supportprofile.apple.com/

If the devices that are associated to your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
