Video camera not showing up on the desktop...

This is the third time using this video camera and the first time where it did not show up on the desktop. The two previous times I connected the same camera to the iMac there were no issues whatsoever mounting and downloading the footage so I'm stymied as to what the issue could be this time.

Went to Camera Preferences and found this: User uploaded file

HUH? Everything is the circle with a slash thru it. I don't get it. Everything worked just fine last weekend.

Anyone ever see this before?? Is there a fix for this?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), Multiple iPods - iPhone 4S - iMac

Thanks for that suggestion butNONE of my previously used cameras using the same iMac show up on the desktop any longer.....NONE of them.

As you can see in the previous screenshot everything (cards, cameras, iPad, iPhone....EVERYTHING) shows in the Camera Preferences as a circle with the slash thru it. Nothing loads onto the desktop when plugged into the USB ports on the iMac.

These are all items that I have used without difficulty up until a week ago!!

Any other suggestions???
