Is it save to use an emoji in text box in Aperture book?

Hello all,

I've printed some books in Aperture before but never used emoji in text boxes.

When I add an emoji character (through Character Viewer) in a text box, it is shown as I expect.

However, before I press "buy book", I would like to know if it will also be printed as an emoji character?

Has anyone done this before and can confirm that it works (or doesn't work)?
