Lost iphone iCloud

I lost my iphone and am trying to locate it on iCloud, when logged into iCloud on my laptop i can access the contacts from my phone but nothing else. Is there still possible to locate my phone or at least restore my photos? Cant find iphone on devices under find my devices, only my laptop, but I am sure I had icloud on my phone, and I do get my contact list from mye phone on icloud so surely it must have access.

Please help, I want to find my phone, or at least restore my photos!

Hi Marivaage,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I understand that you lost your iPhone and are now trying to locate it with iCloud. You are able to still see your contacts and data on the iCloud website because that information is synced with the iCloud. You may not however be able to locate it with the ‘Find My iPhone’ feature if the device is offline. If you do have another iPhone or plan on getting another iPhone, you can restore the new one from the lost iPhone’s iCloud backup to recover all info, including the photos in the Camera Roll.
