Swapping data between 2 iMacs.

Hello,

I have 2 iMacs, both Intel based.

I would like to swap the data between both iMacs without losing any data from either iMac.

I know that with Migrate assistant I can transfer the data from one iMac to the other, but is there any way that I can swap the two hard-drives?

I'm a little old school and still use USB Flashdrives and External Hard Drives to share files between computers.

For simple file sharing over your local network, see > Mac Basics: File Sharing

Optionally, there is > Apple - iCloud - Your content. On all your devices. if both systems are in the Clouds.
