I have a "Misconfigured Network". (iPad 4th). Is there anything I can do to correct this? Thank You.
I have a "Misconfigured Network" on my iPad 4th. What should I do? Thank You.

Also, the Servers are probably "Misconfigured", too! I've been getting a lot of Error Messages, about Java Script, DNS Lookup, DNS Server cannot be found, etc. The most recent one was 2 days ago, saying "Server Connection Closed. Description: The server "real.login.yahoo.com", closed the connection before the transaction was completed".
Thank you.

I'm hoping that it's never been jailbroke. If it was, all bets are off.
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without be charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.
This is not my term, but derives from an internet site, offering to do free (iPad) scans. I decided to go along with it, because I knew something is seriously wrong with this iPad, receiving more Error Messages everyday.
Thank-You very much.

I.'m beginning to think so, too. This iPad crashes 5-6 x a day, flips from one site to another, displays pop-ups, and the list goes on.
I don't think there's any "fix" for this, but I thank you once again, and appreciate your taking the time to respond.

Is this wi-fi? Cellular? Home network? Public?
It's a Wi Fi wireless home network. Hope this helps. Thanks.

What do you mean "misconfigured?"
Sounds to me that you're a victim of phishing.

A modification to enable it to do things that Apple did not intend it to do.
