Connecting Samsung Security Camera DVR to Apple 802.11n airport/time capsule?

I have looked at google, mac forums, Samsung website, and Apple support. I cannot figure out the right settings and info to get this DVR connected.

I even tried Youtube.....nothing is working.

Equipment:

Samsung SDS-P5122

Airport 802.11n 3rd generation, 5.6.1

Time Capsule version 7.6.4

Connections:

-Internet from the wall, to modem from internet company, to airport

-ethernet from Samsung DVR to airport

I followed the Samsung directions

-went to the website, registered/named the product

-went to the dvr, setup the connection mode, interface DHCP "connected succesfully", wrote down all of the port info

but when I tried to perform the DDNS Site setup, which is where I entered the product name from the online registration and connect to the router, "failed to find a router".

I have tried port forwarding per the web using the airport utility, but i do not know enough to know why it isn't working.

What could I be missing?

Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Just want to be sure. Do you have both a 3rd generation 802.11n AirPort Extreme base station and ? generation Time Capsule? ... or just a 3rd generation Time Capsule?

If both how are they configured with each other? Regardless, what is the make & model of your Interent modem?

What are the ports, both UDP & TCP, that Samsung says are required for their DVR in order to access it from the Internet?

Then I would suggest that you start a new post as your issue, although similar, is not exactly the same as that by the OP. That way you can possibly get the solution you are looking for.

FWIW. Port 80 is typically used by web browsers to communicate with HTTP. I am assuming that you are not having any difficulty accessing your DVR on your local network.

When you re-post be sure to include what port(s) are needed. The DVR's user guide or the manufacturer's support site should provide you with this information as it will be critical for the solution.
