Q: Video freezes, and audio stops but time lapse is still going. Help please.

I have a video which is a mp4. I am using a Macbook Pro. The video will play for 10 seconds (I have tried it in quicktime and and itunes) and then suddenly the video freezes, and audio stops. However, the time lapse for the video is still going except the actual video itself is not playing. I am the only one having this issue as my other two friends are able to play it on their computers. Any solutions or some things I can try to fix the problem? -Thanks

What program created the file?

Do you have the original uncompressed (non mp4) file? If so, try recompressing it.

Also, if your hard drive is too full or too slow you'll get playback glitches.

Mine only plays for 2 seconds. Have tried playing it with DIVX, Quicktime and Flip Player to no avail. I have More than 250G of free memory, so I dont think thats the problem. My original video is an MP4, but I dont know what program created the file but it was not from a Mac.
